Crisp, clean pages; saddle staples show rust staining, but binding remains secure; cover has light scuffing at the left front, blue and gray smudging across the rear, and small tears at spine ends, otherwise sound; the back panel folds out to show a color reproduction of a view of Dubuque, drawn by Lucinda Farnham in 1856, depicting steamboats and trains. 84pp., color illus.
