Pp. 90; 5 color photos, numerous text-figures (line-drawings of artifacts, black-and-white photos of artifacts and human fossil remains, maps, charts). Original color pictorial stiff wrappers, lettered in black on the spine and front cover, sm 4to. This volume presents the results of a symposium held in Korea in January, 2004. The volume contains 8 chapters by noted Asian authorities; the papers are in English (6 papers) or French (2 papers) with summaries in Korean and in French. The volume is inscribed by Yung-jo Lee, the senior editor, on the front endpaper.
