Has a glassine protector which is torn and missing half of the spine. In French to commemorate the centennial of the French Senate. This is copy 9740 of 10, 000. Particularly well preserved copy. Text is clean and unmarked. Binding is sound, hinges tight and spine square. Boards have no wear and the gilt is fresh, bright and distinct. Corners are straight. Spine has silver gilt lettering which is distinct. Back edge of spine has an inch patch that is stained. Else tight, bright, clean and strong..
