Red leather spine with red cloth boards. In pictorial slipcase. Case has some soiling and edge wear with a tape repair at bottom. Book itself is pristine.
Alexander Young Jackson (1882 - 1974), Canadian painter and founding member of the Group of Seven, made a significant contribution to the development of art in Canada. His autobiography discusses his early days, study period in France, army life, founding of the Group of Seven, camping and canoeing in search of scenes to paint, various exhibitions, etc.
