Orig. published in 1930, this is the Ninth printing of that FIRST EDITION from Jan. 1945. Hardcover 4to has bright red cloth-covered boards lettered in black to front & spine. Condition is VG: generally very clean, binding strong & straight, hinges secure, pages creamy white with moderate, age-appropriate tanning to edges, colors bright. Former owner's name to twice to front endpapers, else unmarked. Boards show slight rubbing to extremities, mild faded spots to rear board, slightly pushed spine & bumped corners.
