The book is in fine condition with no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, no foxing, clean, tight binding. The dust jacket has no chips, no tears, rubbing at the very tips of flap creases, clean. The book measures 240mm tall x 154mm, and has 239 pages, 9 maps, 17 b/w & 14 colour photos, index. Winner of Boardman-Tasker prize for mountaineering literature. First half book recounts bold mixed climb (1st ascent) of N face of Kishtwar-Shivling with Dick Renshaw. Second half is on an expedition to the Rimo group in the eastern Karakoram. Much historical information with map & approach updates. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
