Boston: Houghton Mifflin Co, 1965. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. First edition, first issue with the top line of page 270 also appearing at the top of page 271. Front hinge cracked, else near fine in attractive very good dust jacket with a small tape repair at the top of the front spine-fold and a narrow chip at the bottom of the front panel. Advance Review Copy with publisher's slip laid in; the slip with a couple of creases. The author's arresting and increasingly uncommon first novel.
