Good +. 270pp. Octavo [23.5 cm] Tan cloth over boards with lettering and pictorial stamping in black, red, yellow, and blue. Rebacked, with the original spine laid over. New endbands. Endpapers printed in full color. There are numerous small areas of abrasion to the cloth covers, and there are two subtle tissue repairs to closed tears in the fore-edge margins of the preliminary leaves. Bienvenue, p. 29. Hanff / Greene, p. 50. Spine imprint includes "Co." Only two titles are listed on the last page. "O" is in "Ozma" on p. [11], line 5. Illustration on p. 221 in color. An early book in the Oz series. Contains numerous illustrations by John R. Neill. This is the third book in the Oz series.

Synopsis

Ozma of Oz, published on July 29, 1907, was the third book of L. Frank Baum's Oz series. It was the first in which Baum was clearly intending a series of Oz books.
