C. M. Saxton, Barker &co.. Not Stated Presumed First Edition. Trade Paperback. Very Good-/No Dust Jacket. 386, [10] pages. Faded gold lettering on the spine. Cover lightly soiled. Spine is slanted. Paper is foxed. Foredge lightly soiled, a couple of small ink stains on a few pages. Previous owner's signature on the title page. One signature of the bookblock has moved forward. This is a very good copy of this book written as a series of letters published in the New York Tribune and issued as a book at the conclusion of his travels.
