Savvas Publishing, Sydney, 1995. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Very Good. Foreword by publisher, acknowledgements introduction. Photographic end pages, showing a newspaper worker reading the newspaper. The text is illustrated with reproductions of newspaper advertisements, illustrations and front pages themselves. The reproductions are predominantly in black and white but there is a section of coloured reproductions also present. Blue coloured boards with gilt coloured embossed titles to the front panel and back strip. Photographic dustwrapper with gilt and black coloured titles to the front panel and gilt coloured titles to the back strip. The book reproduces pages from the Daily Telegraph Mirror, and there is additional text giving context to each of the decades presented. Softening of the back strip edges with rubbing of the book corners. The book has been printed on a dark cream coloured page. Creasing to the top dustwrapper edge and there are a couple of small closed tears. There is a small tear to the lower left hand corner of the front panel and to the lower edge of the rear panel.
