This uncommon publication was issued to celebrate the first anniversary of the Weather Underground, a militant far-left organization originally organized as a splinter faction of the SDS. Per its first page: "We publish this pamphlet in the hope that reading the communiques together will remind the overground of its responsibilities both to the underground in this country and to the world revolution." Rich with black and white cartoons, illustrations and photographic images, the work documents the group's activities, including a bombing by the "Proud Eagle Tribe, a group of revolutionary women" in Boston and another in New York in support of Puerto Rican liberation. 7.5" x 5.25".
