About This Item

Privately Printed by Ted. C. Rypel, 1977. Softcover. Very Good. Premier issue, Vol. 1, No.1, of Ted C. Rypel's tribute to the cult classic TV show, The Outer Limits, titled The Outer Limits: An Illustrated Review. The first issue of two issues that saw publication, No. 2 being abruptly truncated after only 17 episodes appeared in season two, when it was scheduled against the highly rated Jackie Gleason Show. Since then Outer Limits has soared to unusually enthusiastic cult heights, rivaling The Twilight Zone and then some, and the accompanying magazine itself is hotly collected. Includes painstakingly detailed plot summaries and commentary on the first 12 episodes and many stills from the show. Less than 1,000 copies printed. Scarce. 60 numbered pages plus an additional two pages of photos. Tight, unmarked copy with minimal shelf wear and a faint corner crease to front panel. An unusually presentable copy of a hard to find SF collectible. Photographs of or additional information about this item are available on request. All inquiries answered promptly.
