Merriam, Kansas, USA: Allied Publishing Group, 1986. BD1 - DJ is mylar protected. A tight, clean, sound copy in dark green cloth with gold lettering on the spine with some very light bumping of the top left and right corners plus some very, very light edge wear near the top and bottom spines. The dust jacket is in very good- condition with very minor overall wear mainly in the form some light chipping and edge wear along the top edges plus 2 small (about 0.25") closed tears on the front top edge plus 1 (less than 0.25") on the front bottom edge. This is a collection of anecdotes and experiences of author who was the president of Ottawa University in Kansas for 32 years. Most of the stories are from the earlier part of his tenure and they give evidence of the struggles of the times and of the University in particular in the years following the Depression and the Dust-Bowl on through the duration of World War II. 109p.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
