About This Item
1877 hardcover as pictured. An early attempt to document white settlement in, and the suppression/removal of Native Americans from the Northwest Territories and Ohio country in the latter half of the 18th century. This book has seen some use but remains quite readable. Binding is intact though both front and rear hinges are cracked. Maroon cloth boards with black and gold stamping are soiled and worn at edges with fraying at head and tail of spine and at corners. Pencilled notation on half title page. Text is tanned but appears otherwise clean and unmarked. Includes 15 illustrations. No dust jacket. We have a number of books on the history of the Northwest Territories and Kentucky on offer. Please see our storefront for more information. Your purchase helps support our small village library. s OG1
