Octavo, [six volumes]. Uniformly bound in blue cloth, book seal stamped in blind to front covers, title in gilt on spines. A mixed-printing set: Volume I states "Twelfth Printing, March, 1934" on copyright page, Volumes II, IV, and VI with "1935" listed on title page, "1930" listed on Volume III, and "1933" with "Scribner's A" on Volume V. Solid text blocks with light shelf wear, internally fine. Housed in the publisher's navy blue cloth clamshell box, some splitting and frays to ribbon, title in gilt on top. An attractive example.
