Offered is the complete set of six (6) volumes of "Our Times" by Mark Sullivan. Hardcover books 1971 edition published by Charles Scribner's Sons in 1971. Introduction by Dewey W. Grantham. Profusely Illustrated. End-papers are black. Top-edges are tanned; otherwise, the books are tightly bound with text unmarked and clean and thus in Good+ condition with Good dust jackets having an assortment of sunned spines and short edge tears. "Mark Sullivan, lawyer, veteran newspaperman, and student of the American social scene, stated his purpose in writing this work on the first page of the first volume - 'to follow an average American through this quarter-century ... to recreate the flow of his days as he saw them ... to appraise the actors of history and their activities according to the way they affected the average man, the way he felt about them, the ways in which he was influenced by his leaders and in which he influenced them." Each book weighs a little over 2 pounds so postage extra at cost.
