Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Minor pencil marking to first page. Front free end paper removed. Cracked at front board gutter. Binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.
