Our Bird Friends - From the Library of Henry Williamson. This book was inscribed as a gift to Henry Williamson (Sonny) when he was nine from his Aunt Maude (Leaver). It is subsequently signed by Williamson in 1921 with his Owl drawing. In 1946 his son Richard Williamson aged 11 signed the book with his owl drawing. A wonderful family item that was received by Henry when he was young and just starting to understand the natural world around him. For him to have kept it and passed it down the family must have has some importance to him.
