About This Item

London: The Gresham Publishing Company Ltd Book. Illus. by Haslehust Ernest W. R.B.A.. Very Good. Hardcover. No date, probably early 1920's. 9" x 6 1/2", paginated 64, 5-64, 5-64, 5-64 pages (being four slim volumes re-published as a single volume), [48] colour plates (one 'Stone Avenue near Merrivale' not listed), plan of Exeter Cathedral, Mackintosh inspired endpapers, decorated boards. Hb, appears generally a very nice copy, however there is a faint red line approximately 2 1/2" long vertically in centre of rear cover, page edges foxed, significant foxing to early and late pages, though not affecting plates, 1" wide folded silk book-marker laid in between the 'Two Bridges' plate and its facing plate, resulting in foxing to the page, and slight marks on the plate. .
