About This Item
London: Longmans, Green & Co, 1898. No dustwrapper, some minor wear to ends of green cloth spine strip, (no titles visible thereon, but not sure if there were any in the first place) and to corners of the slightly grubby paper-covered boards, some old insect damage inside back cover and to the last few pages but with no damage to the text, but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. The first in the "Alcuin Club Tracts" series, originally published in 1897, this is a second edition from the next year. Deals with the "Ornaments" of the Church as mentioned in the Book of Common Prayer, these being pieces of church furnishings and smaller items such as candlesticks, lecterns and suchlike. 70pp.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
