About This Item
London, Heinemann, 1980.. 1980, image size 129 x 157 mm, 5 x 6¼ inches, Tilly, a small wooden dressed Dutch doll, is speaking to a large Teddy Bear who is holding a couple of branches of a fir tree, enormous cabbages as background. In a large cream mount. A Fine example, UNSIGNED. The story is written and illustrated by Jaques, and is the second about brave doll Tilly. Our image appears on page (24). Sold with a very good clean copy of the first edition which is inscribed in ink by Jaques on the front endpaper: "For Sue & Douglas with best wishes from Faith, October 1983". The only flaws to the book are that the laminate on the covers is slightly wrinkled and Jaques' name completely faded from spine. Price includes VAT. MORE IMAGES ATTACHED TO THIS LISTING, ALL ZOOMABLE, FURTHER IMAGES ON REQUEST. POSTAGE AT COST.
