Dated in the author’s hand, 11th February, 1915; a 16 page (plus cover title) typed ms. of a short story, very heavily corrected in ink by the author, adding hundreds of words in his hand. Collected in Turbulent Tales (1946), a Queen’s Quorum selection, describing the contents as historical detective tales. The story title and author’s name are typed at the beginning of the piece; very good condition.
