This book collects many of the essays and reviews written for "The Saturday Review" on art and artists such as Albright, Wyeth, Duchamp, Still, Moholy-Nagy, Leger, Davis, Miro, and Adams. First Edition, First Printing. Blue and green cloth boards with silver lettering on the spine. 279 pages, including index; illustrated with over 20 black & white photos. Light foxing on the fore edge of text, o/w boards and text are clean and unmarked, tight and square, not remaindered. The dustjacket show very minor wear on lower edge and spine end, a touch of soiling along spine, a light corner crease on the front flap, o/w no tears, no chipping or other significant flaws. Not price-clipped. A collectable copy.
