Inscribed to the United States Secretary of the Interior Franklin Lane, this is the first edition of One Woman to Another by Corinne Roosevelt Robinson, the youngest sister of President Theodore Roosevelt.. Twelvemo, ix, [2], 73pp. Green cloth, title stamped in gilt on front cover and spine. No additional printings noted. Touch of wear to cloth, a few scuff marks, a very good example. This copy is inscribed to Theodore Roosevelt's selection to the Interstate Commerce Commission and 26th Secretary of the Interior, Franklin Lane. The inscription reads: "For Secretary Lane, who has the fame of making an hour seem like a very few minutes, from Corinne Roosevelt Robinson / May 1918." Corinne Roosevelt Robinson (1861-1933) was the youngest sister of President Theodore Roosevelt and an accomplished poet and author.
