About This Item
Bantam Books, 1971-06-01. Mass Market Paperback. New. New. In shrink wrap. Looks like an interesting title!
Synopsis
This wonderful book is an introduction to the relationship between mathematics and the physical world. It explains elements of quantum theory, relativity, and purer mathematics, in a way apprenendible by young or uninitiated readers. (It was a delightful eye-opener to many 8th graders, doomed to later become engineers and physists!)
Reviews
On Feb 12 2021, a reader said:
It is an excellent, although old, bk by an astrophysicist.
It deals with numbers & statistics in a rreadable way. It is is sprinkled with with illustrations and arguments that make sense. In its own way, it it argues for the existence of God, of whom I am a strong proponent.
