Hutchinson's early novels, published the year he became a full-time writer, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. A scarce first edition of the work.In the publisher's original unclipped dust wrapper.In the original cloth binding. One of the early works from notable British novelist Roy Coryton Hutchinson. This novel shortly followed one of his best-selling books 'The Unforgotten Prisoner' and marked the beginning of his full time career as a writer.The story of a scientist who goes into the far north to seek a lost idealist, and who finds, on the way, the one woman who can stir him. In the original cloth binding and the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent with minor bumping to the head and tail of spine. Dust wrapper has sunning to the spinal panel. Edge wear to the extremities, heaviest to the spinal panel, with a small chip to the tail. Handling marks to the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright with minor offsetting to the endpapers. Ink inscription to front free endpaper. Very Good Indeed
