London: BCA. 1980. First Edition thus. VG/VG. No inscriptions or annotations. Small stain at bottom corner of last few pages and end page. 816 pages. DW, which is not price-clipped, is bright and shiny with photo of the author on the back cover. 8vo, No inscriptions or annotations. NOT ex-library. Bound in red/maroon faux-leather board, gilt lettering to spine and front board, endpapers pale yellow with author's name repeated in grey. This is basically a reprint of the Octopus Edition and is of the same high quality paper and printing standard. These Octopus editions were produced to a high standard of print and paper and have stood the test of time as there is no sign of them browning or ageing in any way. and the faux leatherette binding is as good as new with no sign of the gilt lettering fading etc. This is a heavy volume which will require extra postage. .
