Oliver Rosto was a very early American aircraft designer, who designed the Rosto Monoplane "Duluth No. 1" in 1909 (per the ALS) though the Duluth Aviation Institute website cites 1913 as the year in which that happened. In1954, Rosto earned the American Order of Merit for his contributions to civil aviation, and in 2009 he was inducted into the Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame. This letter was written and signed by Rosto on January 18th, 1967, for an American aviation collector. A very scarce aviation autograph, & letter.
