About This Item
Bobbs-Merrill Company, Indianapolis, 1902. 9" X 6.5" in green cloth with Art Nouveau decoration on the front cover. Oval paste-down picturing a woman of 120 years ago. One tiny scuff on the paste-down. Minor wear at spine ends and corners; gilt spine titles slightly faded, but quite legible: a conservative VERY GOOD PLUS. This is a showcase for Howard Chandler Christie's illustrations, which are sweet and poignant. I believe that this is a signed copy. Signed: "Yours Sincerely, Howard .03" on the second leaf. [CB043]. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket.
