The author explores the first radicals of the revolutionary era in this carefully researched book: Samuel Adams, Isaac Sears, Dr. Thomas Young, Richard Henry Lee, and Charles Carroll of Carrollton. She examines the strands that linked them and that also separated them from their loyalist friends, neighbors and associates. The younger radicals that followed them actually became the "Founding Fathers." Contains an indexin the rear. Original blue cloth publisher's covers with gilt spine lettering. This is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no previous owner names and no bookplates. The dust jacket in similarly nice condition with no chips, tears, or markings. This is copy would make a fine addition to any library.
