NEW EDITION 1953, THE FIRST WITH THESE ILLUSTRATIONS, (first published in 1882 with different illustrations), 8vo, pink cloth illustrated and lettered dark blue to upper cover and spine, 120 pages. 18 original fairy stories first published in Aunt Judy's Magazine between 1869 and 1876. 5 beautiful black and white plates by Gertrude Mittelmann plus an extra one on the upper cover of the dustwrapper, text illustrations by Graham Robertson. Small biro inscription on front endpaper, otherwise a Fine copy in VG+ DUSTWRAPPER (dw: not price clipped, spine very lightly browned, a couple of tiny chips at tail of spine).
