Fussell's classic account of the early English farming books was originally published in two volumes: his 1947 study The Old English Farming Books from FitzHerbert to Tull, 1523 to 1730 being followed in 1950 by More Old English Farming Books from Tull to the Board of Agriculture, 1731 to 1793. This Aberdeen Rare Books reprint collects the two volumes in one book for the first time. Copy No. 240. Age-toning to the margins of the plates and yellow spotting to the endpapers and inside panels of the dustwrapper, otherwise Very Good in a rather sunned and lightly soiled dustwrapper.
