A historical and descriptive account of the different styles of clocks and watches of the past in England and abroad, with a list of ten thousand makers. Written by F. J. Britten, a British horologist, considered one of the preeminent horologist of his time. Bound in contemporary half red crushed morocco with the original red cloth boards. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear only. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Near Fine
