Basil Blackwell. Oxford. 1931. FIRST EDITION. Large 8vo. (8.4 x 6.7 inches). Illustrated with six line drawings and one colour plate (mounted onto the front board) by Ruth Cobb. Inscribed by the Author on the front free endpaper "From another admirer of the original, one and only OLD ARGO, who used to see her at Dublin instead of Bristol. L. A. G. Strong". A very good copy in publishers beige paper covered boards with red lettering and mounted colour plate to the front board. The book is undated but both the British Library and the Bodliean give 1931 as a publication date.
