Quarter bound in gray cloth over red boards with silver lettering.Book is signed in full on the half title page. The priced (4.75)dust jacket is only fair to be generous. It has been repaired but still shows significant tears and some loss. Book is leaning a bit but is solid square and unmarked. The Oil patch embodies a memorable and authentic portrait of a Western oil town, Mrs Curry lived in just such a town. Her ear for the rough oil field talk, her eye for the wind blown, barren land with the shadowed mountains in the distance, and mastery of oil field technology give her novel authority and distinction. Peggy Simson Curry was the first poet laureate i the state of Wyoming. Very nice collectible. Signed by Author
