Condition: Binding age darken/faint soiling, two corners lightly bumped; shelf wear; light fraying to top/foot of spine. Chips/ tears to preliminary pages and rear blank pages. Foxing/bubbling of rear endpapers. Edges lightly toned, top edge darken. In general, pages are clean and clear and text very readable. Photos/illustrations are clear and vivid. Overall book is Good Plus. This antiquarian book (over 128 years old) is packed with archaeological and historical information relative to the State of Ohio, including articles on early boundary lines between Ohio and other states; biographies, sketches of leading men/members of the Ohio Society; and proceedings/reports of annual meetings. Articles include the Underground Railroad, Early Abolition Colony and Its Founder, biographies on Samuel Finley Vinton, Samuel Galloway, Henry Howe, Francis Charles Sessions, and Rutherford Birchard Hayes.
