Seattle: Washington Toll Bridge Authority, 1940. First Edition. Illustrated wraps. Good+. 8vo. Pp. [12]. Color illustrated wrap saddle stapled. Illustrated with black & white photos and drawings. Staples oxidized but without migration, spine tail split, mellowed creases to cover corner, band of light age toning across head of the first two leaves, colors vivid, leaves crisp and bright. Color window decal 3 x 4 inches. Story of the unique lake bridge system between Seattle, Mercer Island and Beaux Arts, saving fourteen miles of driving. With an explanation of the engineering and photos of construction of the longest pontoon bridge in the world until the Evergreen Point bridge was finished a few miles north in 1963. Booklet prepared for the July 2, 1940 dedication ceremony.

Preserved in a clear archival pouch with acid-free backing.
