With the small ticket front paste down of Librairie Raymond Clavreuil, the noted French bookseller and history editor, a pencilled annotation in margin of 1 page of Preface that may be in his hand. Bound in contemporary red morocco over marbled boards, the back intricately gilt, top edge gilt, marbled end papers, ribbon marker. Near Fine, small rub at head of spine and at corners. . Limited and Numbered Signed 1st Edition. Half Morocco. Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
