A Geneve [i.e. Paris]: Cazin, 1782. Hardcover. Fair +. Volumes 2 and 3 of 4 ([4], 347, [1] p.; [4], 276 p.); 13 cm. Contemporary speckled calf with six spine compartments. Leather labels in second and third compartments with gilt-tooled title and volume number; gilt-tooled decoration in remaining compartments. Triple gilt-ruled borders on boards. All page edges gilt. Gilt-tooled turn-ins. Marbled endpapers. Blue ribbon bookmarks. Floral title vignette or printer's emblem. Woodcut head-pieces. Engraved bookplate on front fixed endpaper with motto "Mihi Aperies Iter" and handwritten note: "The Property of W.W. Watson." In Fair+ Condition: leather is cracked along both spines with some loss at spine ends; vol. 2 lacking spine labels; joints are cracked; both text blocks are solid.
