Burgundy hardcover w/ gilt lettering, all crisp, and tight copy, crisp text; faint prints on page edges, couple of prints in text, outside near fine condition. Slipcase is sun-lightened along edges but intact/tight.

Contains Grene's 1942 translation of Oedipus Rex; also includes Grene's 1991 introduction to Sophocles I, entitled The Theban plays by Sophocles.
