Handsomely bound in a full vellum binding. A very scarce theological work by Johann Henrich. With two on Copac, held at Glasgow University and London Library. The copy has been bound in a full vellum binding. The work is written in the original Latin. Johann Henrich was a Lutheran theologian born in Germany born in the mid 17th century. After extensive study, Henrich became a professor of Hebrew language at the University of Giessen. He was a prolific writer, publishing over 20 books and numerous doctoral theses. An extremely scarce work, it offers an interesting exploration of The New Testament by an eminent and highly educated Lutheran theologian of the period. In a full vellum binding. Externally vert smart. Light spots and handling mark as to be expected with vellum. Age toning to the front and rear endpapers and pastedown. Internally firmly bound. Pages are generally clean with some light age toning. Small tide mark to several pages to the rear of the volume, to the tail, no affecting the text, Very Good Indeed
