Amsterdam: Nico Israel Da Capo Press. Fine. 1975. Hardcover. 4to. Facsimile reprint of the 1791 London edition. 96pp. , with 3 folding plates. Bound in simulated vellum. From Maria's Island, Tasmania, Captain Cox sailed into the Pacific and one of the most interesting points about the book is the early account of the famous mutiny on H. M. S. Bounty. The voyage was partly undertaken for fur trade between the N. W. Coast of America and China . Bibliotheca Australiana 68. We specialize in fine books in collectible condition.
