London: Printed for the author and sold by G.J. and J. Robinson. 1789. New ed. much enlarged and improved, contemporary quarter leather with marbled sides, later title ('Robertson on Ship Fever') lettered in gilt. Four fold-out tables on patients, tables in text, pp xx,490, (i, errata). Shadow of tape marks endpapers. One table torn completely along fold and loosely inserted, one table damaged. Boards rubbed, spine spotted. Good condition. The author was a British surgeon, Fellow of the Royal Society, and physician to the hospital at Greenwich. He served in the Navy and wrote several treatises on fever, scurvy and other maritime illnesses. New Edition. Quarter calf.
