A fine copy in very good dust jacket; green pictorial jacket is evenly tanned on spine, with light (uneven) tanning on extremities of front and rear panels, else quite bright. First edition. viii, 164pp. 8vo. INSCRIBED TO MARY HYDE. A play set on the South Coast of England, during World War II; among the characters are young Irishmen in the R.A.F. and conscientious objectors.

Inscribed, and signed, by Sean O'Casey: "For Mary Hyde,/ from/ Sean O'Casey/ With all good wishes/ Devon, 1962" (on the front flyleaf). The recipient, scholar Mary Hyde, edited a volume of correspondence between George Bernard Shaw and Alfred Douglas and was a famous book collector.
