Filadelfo Mugnos was a 17th-century Italian historian who published works on countless topics – topics such as nobles from the around the world, the history of Sicily, the origins of the Latin language, and much more. One particularly notable work was his 'Il Nuovo Laertio' – a collection of biographical sketches of eminent philosophers, poets, lawmakers, historians, and brilliant minds.
