1840. Taylor & Walton, London. 1840. Bound in half black morocco with textured black boards and gilt to spine. Illustrations of coins within text. xiv, 420pp with xvii plates bound in at rear plus 4pp of adverts. Bookplate to front pastedown from the Oliver Collection No. 1439 interesting two page hand-written letter bound in to front free endpapers. Inner hinge visible with some marks and age browning and foxing to endpapers o/w contents remarkably fresh and clean. A very nice copy.
