Description:
Montreal: First Statement Press, 1948. Book. Fine. Wraps. Signed by Author(s). First Edition. Author's second book. Card covers in gray pictorial dustjacket. Contains stories and poems by author. An attractive copy in a similar jacket with light edgewear and some yellowing, notably at spine. This copy used to belong to a late Montreal poet and friend of Layton who has inscribed his name neatly on the first page. The ink from his inscription has transfered slightly to the inside flap of the dustjacket. Also on the first page is Irving Layton's signature. A nice copy of a scarce book..
