Chawton edition. volumes 11, 3, 7 and 4 are numbered 492 of 1250. Beautiful red leather spine and corners, with gold title and flower and leaves on a stem beautiful gold illustrations. Between the leather on the front and back cover is marbled paper. On all of the tops of the spines there is heavy wear, and the very top of them is missing as well as the bottoms of the spine. Volumes 3 and 9 are missing more from the edges of the spine. Volume 5 has about 3 and a half inches missing of the top layer of the spine. On the marbled paper edges there is some heavy rubbing down to the boards. Corners of all books are rubbed down to the boards as well Stock photos may not look exactly like the book.
