About This Item
Synopsis
Nova Express is a 1964 novel by William S. Burroughs, the plot of which cannot easily be described. It was written using Burroughs' "cut-up method" of enfolding snippets of different texts into the novel, including T. S. Eliot's The Waste Land, among others. It is the third book in The Nova Trilogy, preceded by The Soft Machine and The Ticket That Exploded. Naked Lunch is seen as a prequel to these. Nova Express was nominated for the Nebula Award for Best Novel in 1965.
