Each page with a different medieval style border and several full page plates in somber tones. Bound [by Gruel] in full golden tan crushed morocco with watered silk endpapers, a.e.g., the text block edges elegantly and intricately gauffered, the spine untitled with each panel densely gilt with small central floral ornament, the covers with a series of four rolled borders with large floral cornerpieces, fancy dentelles, and with two openwork brass clasps. Housed in untitled slipcase of thin maroon boards with lined in silk.
